We chose some good ideas and voted on them.

Humming Birds was the winner.

Would you reply to my blog and tell me why you think is a good name for us.

I wonder what you are all planning to do next week whilst we are on holiday from school.

I am hoping to see a lot of Joseph, perhaps I will read him some Julia Donaldson stories and see which ones make him smile.

Tomorrow I am going to watch Sheffield Wednesday play,  I hope they win as we seem to be losing a lot of matches at the moment.

Blog back and let me know what you are doing.

Which of Julia Donaldson’s books is your favourite?

We have been reading lots of them in class because we have been

learning the Gruffalo story.  Mrs Butterfield’s favourite is Charlie Cook’s Favourite

Book.

Will you blog back to us and tell us which is your favourite.

Hi everybody,

wood

Look at this fantastic picture. I would like you to describe yourself walking through the forest and tell me what you saw/heard. Be as creative as possible. Think about your adjective and verb choices so the reader gets a clear picture of what is happening. The words I want you to change are in bold. You can change what you saw behind the tree. I can’t wait to read what you found.

Mrs Butterfield strolled through the thick grass. Suddenly, she heard a deep growl coming from behind a tall tree. She peered behind it and saw green, glowing eyes staring back.
